Jag har designat det lilla torget i Blackeberg och utsmyckningen innehåller en skulptur, en plåt och markanläggning.
Aluminiumskulpturen som ingår i min konstnärliga gestaltning består av ett assemblage av två figurer uppförstorade tjugo gånger originalet som har olika förhållningssätt till TID: Rallyföraren, en leksaksfigur liksom Blackeberg från 50-talet har väldigt bråttom och Sköldpaddan, en sandform som fortfarande produceras inom leksaksindustrin bromsar och vill stanna kvar.
De utgör tillsammans ett snyggt och makligt ekipage i silverglans med motsatta energier..
Platsen skulpturen står på är en yta man passerar för att komma till tunnelbanan,
till butikerna på torget eller för att återvända hem.
Det är en väldig trafik av gångtrafikanter över ytan. Man sneddar över tomten för att vinna några sekunder.
Den rostfria plåten fungerar som en vägg till skulpturen och även som en väl använd anslagstavla av medborgarna i kvarteret.
Namnet DEPÅ hänvisar till en plats där man stannar till, tankar och laddar för att sen gå vidare i racerfart.

"DEPOT with turtlerallydriver"

I have designed the piazza in Blackeberg in Stockholm that contains a sculpture, a plate and the patterns in the concrete on the ground.
The sculpture in aluminium is an assemblage of a sandform of a turtle with a rallydriver on top it, riding it enlarged twenty times the original. Those two figures have a different relation to TIME: The Rallydriver, a toy from the 50s like the area Blackeberg where this public sculpture is placed original, is always in a rush and the Turtle who wants to stay and constantly brakes.
Together they make a gentle and nice equipage in silver lustre with opposite energies in it.
The space where the sculpture is placed is in the runway for to get to the underground, to the shops in the center or to return back home. It's a hectic traffic. People rush to gain some seconds.
The plate in hardened stainless steel has a function as a notice board for the citizens in the neighbourhood.
The name of the piazza with the sculpture DEPOT refers to a place where you stay to fill up with energy to be able to move on in a full rallyspeed ahead.
